We designed a 650 s.f. addition for our family home which included: extending the dining room, a new dining area directly off kitchen, pantry, and sunroom.
The addition area is shaded on the image two plan.
There is a step up on the interior between the existing living level and the addition. This allowed us to locate a car port underneath.
An exterior deck at the upper level is accessed by the sun-room and kitchen dining area.
The roof extension shades the south facing glass and deck during the summer, and allows direct sun in the winter. The solid wall areas are wood siding - painted to match the original walls.
